Job Responsibilities: Prepare accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports, to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to standards defined within the department Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare related schedules Review journal entries Review store financial statements prior to closing Develop systems for the maintenance of financial records making use of current technologies Fixed assets management, oversight, and use tax assessment Monitor cash, ACH, and other bank activity Routine communication with internal customers throughout the Pomp\'s network Assists all areas of accounting including oversight of staff accountants Development of new procedures, as warranted Additional tasks as assigned by manager Job Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance CPA Certification preferred 3-5 years\' previous experience Computer skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Confidentiality Excellent communication skills Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 10 pounds At Pomp\'s Tire Service, we help you get where you want to go!
