Accounts Payable Accountant - Hybrid Remote

Immediate need for an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator to join a long standing and successful multi-state Architectural & Interior Design firm located in Downtown Atlanta. Work in office 3 days per week and remote 2 days with no overtime. This role does have primary responsibility for A/P but will tasked with handling project billing, special projects and G/L work as well.

Overview of primary job responsibility is two-fold as follows:

• Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly
• Assist with other projects as needed
• Assist with month end close, reconciling accounts payable accounts
• Audit all expense reports for accuracy
• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
• Process check requests and weekly check runs
• Maintains and monitors the listing of accounts payable
• Corresponds with vendors, set-up new vendors, and maintains updated vendor profiles
• Handle all Project accounting for two technical divisions with the company – including invoicing and all project accounting for such

Ideal Candidate should have the following:

• 3 weeks vacation
