Job Description
Apply Job Type Part-time Description Shive-Hattery's Corporate Office has an opening for a part-time Accounting Clerk (approximately 30 hours per week). Description: Under general supervision, performs various clerical and routine accounting tasks in support of the business, including posting entries, verifying and reconciling input to financial reports system output, processing cash receipts, and assisting in preparation of billings and other financial reports. Responds to inquiries and contacts other departments and/or vendors to resolve a variety of problems. Assists in performance of various accounting and clerical duties as needed. Job Duties:


  • Interact with management, customers and vendors
  • Receive and record vouchers, cash and checks
  • Produce a variety of weekly and monthly reports

  • Review and process expense reports
  • Post timesheets on a weekly basis and identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with regular bank reconciliations
  • Check reports, projects and postings for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Perform other additional duties as assigned Requirements
  • Associates Degree in accounting or 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Coordinate, file and monitor state licensure requirements
  • Keep sensitive information confidential
  • Ability to follow specific directions and work within standards of accuracy
