HealthComp is looking for an experienced Account Management Specialist to support the onboarding and ongoing process for new clients and provide exceptional ongoing service to ensure client satisfaction and retention. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in HR, Employee Benefits, and/or Health Insurance with a proactive approach and customer focused personality who is looking to advance their career with a rapidly growing organization!


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management regarding strategies for renewing accounts
  • Provide market and competitive information to management to guide strategic decision-making and market positioning
  • Work collaboratively across business functions to ensure customer needs are met
  • Be a subject matter expert in all HealthComp products that are offered to clients, including internal processes and regulatory impacts
  • Support Account Mangers with contract renewal process
  • Participate and/or host client meetings as appropriate
  • Follow through to resolution any outstanding items
  • Research, access and escalate to appropriate internal expert for client issue resolution
  • Organize and execute open enrollment strategy, health fairs, and employee education meetings as required
  • Work in collaboration with HealthComp’s analytic team to analyze trends in data and make benefit recommendations based on trend analysis
  • Monitors on an ongoing basis internal performance to ensure clients needs are being met
  • Maintain accurate client records
  • Understand and communicate regulatory changes and impacts to clients

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Clear written and verbal communication style and strong collaboration skills
  • Experience onboarding new clients and providing account-based service is ideal
  • 3+ years of experience in health insurance, employee benefits, human resources, or healthcare industry
  • Comfortable working with HR Directors and Executives
