Job Description

Zearch has been retained by a hugely disruptive, early stage API Business that are scaling and are now looking for their next high performing AE.


Our client has been branded as the next Twilio and are growing rapidly, continually looking for top-notch talent to join the team.

We are looking for an ambitious and passionate Account Executive to join their Sales Team. This role includes owning the full sales cycle from customer prospecting and engagement, to nurturing existing customers.


Primary Responsibilities (not limited to)

· Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for SMB, MM and Enterprise companies.

· Work closely with the VP of Sales and CEO when needed on larger deals and strategic direction.

· Foster strong relationships across all target accounts and build new champions through strategic prospecting efforts.

· Handle complex negotiations that are mutually beneficial and strengthen customer relationships.

· Maintain customer satisfaction; respond to customers in a timely manner; ensure the customer has proper alignment with Customer Success

· Meet or exceed your personal sales quota.


Requirements

· 2+ years of sales experience selling a SaaS solution (Bonus for API experience)

· Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas

· Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

· Demonstrative behaviours around integrity, relationship building, and leadership expectations

· Must be self-motivated, positive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

· Must be someone who remains humble and is inclined to continuously learn, iterate and grow

· Availability during North American business hours and global availability as needed to collaborate with other team members around the world


Preferred Qualifications

· knowledge of and passion for SaaS business

· Strong technical background

· BA/BS degree (Or something similar)
