Communicates issues and questions to management when appropriate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

Codes orthopedic and pain charge tickets.

Reviews CPT, ICD-10, ASA and HCPCS coding on charge tickets.

Reviews pain records for supporting documentation for charge tickets.

Reviews medical records for supporting documentation for charge tickets.

RDMS certification or registry eligible

2 years pediatric and adult echo experience

Must be knowledgeable of basic activities within the echo lab.

Stress test and TEE experience

Must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills

RT licensed in State of Texas or

Advanced education/training beyond high school in a related program (MA/Medical Receptionist, Medical Secretary, or Unit Clerk course).

Previous experience or training as a unit clerk

Experience with Surgi-Server scheduling system.

Minimum three years experience in a dispatcher role involving DOT/FMCSR requirements for Class A CDL drivers (tractor-trailers) in the trucking industry
