Serves as the primary contact for critical and high server-based outages and communicates the status of the outage to infrastructure management.

Interact with immediate supervisor, Postal management, Peraton team members, customers, and users daily.

Required Education, Skills, And Experience

Perform data entry into Navy standard and local unique systems.

Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent technical work experience or certifications, required

3+ years experience in application, technical support, desktop, helpdesk, or systems administration, required

Experience supporting Windows based users in a Microsoft Active Directory Domain environment, required

Experience imaging desktops and laptops, required

Experience troubleshooting basic LAN\WAN issues, required

Communicate effectively with peer employees and senior management.

Perform assigned duties independently with moderate management oversight.

5-7 years' experience as a Windows systems administrator with 24x7 on-call rotation responsibilities

Experience with Microsoft Remote Desktop Services

Bachelor’s Degree (MIS or Computer Science) or equivalent IT work experience

Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification

Demonstrates exceptional time management skills.

Minimum of 1 year experience in customer support.

Able to demonstrate cost savings strategies within your area of responsibilities.

Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills and ability to relate to customers' needs and concerns.

HDI Desktop Support Technician certification is needed within 180 days.

Demonstrates good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Active Directory and Group Policy Management

Working knowledge of automated virtual application deployment and management

Working knowledge of patch management and antivirus methodologies and best practices

Strong knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager

Strong interpersonal skills, oral communication skills, and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems

Create reports for management upon request.

1+ years of experience using Git to manage scripts.

Energetic and positive team player who is highly responsive to customers and management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, technical editing or writing experience

Configure and manage web servers running IIS, JBoss, Apache, and Tomcat.

8+ years of experience building, administering, and maintaining Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019 systems.

Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent technical work experience or certifications, required

3+ years experience in application, technical support, desktop, helpdesk, or systems administration, required

Validate/coordinate validation of incident and problem resolutions provided by external managed service providers

Provide first-line user support for Citrix, Windows, Linux, and AWS Console account issues

Provide first-line user and developer support for Citrix, Windows, and Linux system performance issues

Must have working knowledge of basic Microsoft Windows server management.

1+ year of experience with enterprise ticketing system used for work assignment and tracking

Understanding of servers, Active Directory, and other related technologies to maintain and repair systems in a primarily VMware-based technology infrastructure.

Collaborating with database administrators, network administrators, storage technicians, and others to improve and remediate errors and outages.

Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

Experience with the creation and maintenance of documentation

Maintain system security patching Excellent communication skills

Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Windows Servers

Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot on-premise and Azure Active Directory systems

Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills.

Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.

Knowledge of applicable computer software and operating systems.

Perform Enterprise VDI management, VMWare Horizon View, VMWare vSpherre Web Client.

Support high-level, (NAOC/ABNCP/Exec Comms) computing requirements.

Provide 24X7, and remote location support as needed

Build, update, maintain Blade PC platform.

Create and maintain procedural documentation and train junior staff as necessary

Install and troubleshoot printers/print queues, scanners and Multi-Function Devices.
