We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Citrix/Windows Administrator for a Full-Time position.

Summary:

• Implements appropriate levels of system security. Prescribes system backup / disaster recovery procedures and directs recovery operations in the event of destruction of all or part of the operating system or other system components.
• Provides ongoing systems administration support including installation, customization, maintenance and troubleshooting of Windows systems.
• Evaluates and integrates new operating system versions, drivers, and libraries.
• Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels in standalone and multi-tiered environments.
• Operational responsibilities include remediation of daily incident tickets, system compliance responsibilities, system run enhancement testing and staging, policy / procedure enhancements and adherence, client contact coordination and operational recommendations.
• Ensure 24x7 after-hour support.
• Provides support to address the availability and reliability issues on Windows systems across multiple locations.

• Experience developing SOP implementation guides.
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Physical Science, or other technology
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Citrix Certified Professional, Virtualization (CCP-V)
• Experience configuring and managing server backups using tools such as Veritas NetBackup
• 1-3 yrs. exp.
• Experience developing PowerShell scripts to automate and standardize system administration functions.
• Experience reviewing, validating, and resolving Zone, Secure Ticket Authority (STA), and XML configuration for Citrix XenServer
• Experience planning and executing major OS upgrades and patch installations
• Experience installing, configuring, optimizing and hardening Windows servers.
• Experience configuring network interfaces and OS-level firewalls.
• Extensive hands-on experience managing Citrix XenServer farms.
