Transportation Project Coordinator Jobs

Excellent written and oral communication skills with all levels of Management.

Serves as liaison between HomeGoods DC (Distribution Center) management, Store Operations, and the Home Office Transportation Department on shipment issues.

Assists Receiving and Shipping clerical staff with the completion of daily responsibilities.

At least (1) year of related experience.

Manage the drivers’ on-road performance and engage in communication when necessary to drivers and also consumers.

High School or equivalent training and/or least 6 months related experience preferred.

Scan bag sacks and sort to drivers by route sequence.

Dispatch bag sacks to DSP’s following the process and procedures established by Engineering team.

Perform quality checks on drivers via a check-in process in Fareye Driver Application.

· Demonstrated experience managing and supervising student transportation functions

· Minimum four (4) years supervisory experience

Bemidji, MN: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

· Valid Minnesota Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with School Bus Endorsement Preferred

· Ability to regularly travel within large geographical area

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Meet regularly with Associate Camp Director to prepare for summer season

Work closely with the bus company to create and update bus routes

Assist in ordering supplies and equipment

Assist in assignment and supervision of bus counselors

Prepare for and participate in all staff orientations and events

Troubleshoot road repairs when homes experience issues during transportation

Manage bill backs due to driver damage to either homes or community property

Forward parts list to CX Manager when shipping damages occur

Manage yard inventory and maintain “Zero Yard” month end company policy.

Direct and communicate the prompt and efficient delivery of produced homes

Access AS400 to match homes with the production schedule and coordinate delivery within a set timeframe.

Knowledge of import and export operations and incoterms.

1-2 years' experience in operations and logistics departments

Solid written and verbal communication skills

A strong business sense and experience operating in small to medium-sized business environment

Net Suite experience is preferred

Beauty Industry experience is preferred

$50,000-75,000 per year based on skills and experiences.

Understand and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements

Minimum two (2) years experience in shipping/receiving/inventory control

Understanding and working knowledge of profit/loss accountability

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Strong knowledge of applicable Computer System functions and RF systems.

Warehouse/Operations/Transportation experience preferred but not required.

Working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook

Manages the City of Tucson Department of Transportation and Mobility’s Pavement Management Program.

Plans, prioritizes, and accomplishes pavement management duties.

Minimum Experience Qualifications: At least 3 years in managing and coordinating transportation programs and projects

Manages and maintains roadway asset data within Cartêgraph OMS and ArcGIS.

Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel is a plus.

HS Diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience is preferred.

A minimum of 1+ year of experience in related field is preferred.

Experience in an Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) is preferred.

An equivalent combination of education and experience in construction management, project management, finance, or accounting to equal or exceed five years.

Bachelor's Degree AND one year of progressive transportation project management, construction management, finance/budgeting and/or accounting experience.

Associate's Degree AND three year of progressive transportation project management, construction management, finance/budgeting and/or accounting experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities and Work Environment

Ability to review estimates, schedules and project management processes.

Requires knowledge of transportation standards and funding.

MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Create baseline data and full routing complement to Transportation Supervisors and Managers using routing software

2 or more year's experience in a similar position in the transportation and trucking industry.

Strong organizational skills and communications skills.

Knowledge of routing software is a plus.

An understanding of fleet tracking software (PeopleNet knowledge a plus).

Successful candidates must possess excellent written and verbal skills. Project management, estimating, and scheduling skills are essential.

Specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position include:

Automated design and project management systems.

To prepare clear, comprehensive, and concise technical and management reports.

Knowledge of the theories, principles, practices, and techniques of engineering.

Presenting project information at public meetings and before the County's Board of Supervisors.

Monitor the parcel network with the Transportation Manager and send delay alerts when needed.

On call every other weekend opposite the Transportation Manager.

2+ years of transportation operations experience is preferred

2+ years of experience with detail-oriented office work is required

Willingness to self-learn additional programs and technical skills
