Achieve customer satisfaction through same day purchase order entry by interpreting and applying Purchasing policies and procedures with targeted 100% accuracy.

Review employee time punch edits made by managers to ensure accuracy and consistency

Manage payroll files and other record keeping

Processes, posts and edits new hires in payroll

Maintain and update all payroll system employee information

Provide assistance with problem troubleshooting and resolves employee pay discrepancies

Creates new employee personnel files

SALARY: $85,000-$95,000 based on experience, education, etc.

Review requirements, prepare sourcing strategy and plan including solicitation criteria, quantities, delivery requirements and industry to be sourced.

Prepares contract solicitations, determines specific contract language, clauses, and best type of contract; evaluates offers and recommends source selections.

Minimum of 8-13 years’ of full-spectrum federal contract experience

Acquisition certification is preferred (i.e., FAC-C, DAWIA certification, Industry Certification (ICCM-D, ICCM-F), NCMA certifications will also be considered)

Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.

Manage stock and inventory planning including setting up safety stock and cycle count programs to ensure continuity of supply.

Manage and maintain relationships with contract manufacturers and key partners.

Negotiates and bids all requirements possible.

Coordinates purchasing activities with other departments to meet departmental resource requirements and maintain inventories at required levels.

Minimum of 7 years purchasing and planning experience, preferably in biotech and or manufacturing environments.

8 - 10 yrs. minimum in purchasing or related field, with specific experience in procurement management

Establishes and implements effective procurement management leadership, systems, methods and procedures for the project or group

Participates in or leads supply management strategy development and implementation

Provides guidance on procurement management matters to project team. May participate in internal and external supply management presentations

Works with other responsible Supply Management leadership regarding development, implementation and support of Supply Management programs and procedures

Consults with Department management on critical project execution challenges

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Management or equivalent.

Be a “ superuser “ within the team, providing expert knowledge especially on Purchasing when required.

At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Coordinate with suppliers on sourcing materials, price negotiation and delivery status.

Responsible on purchasing requisitions, quotation enquiries, issuance of purchase order and invoicing.

To coordinate with all related departments in order to achieve the plan target and schedule.

Monitors and manages backorders and expedited deliveries.

Two years experience in customer service and or sales support.

One year experience in purchasing, shipping, receiving, or accounts payable.

One year experience with any computer purchasing software system.

One year medical purchasing experience preferred.

Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.

Support Central Office as needed with data entry tasks

Essential Functions, Responsibilities, and Duties:

Entering and confirming bi-weekly salaries in the payroll system

Supporting payroll, HR, food service, and other Central Office functions as needed, by creating mail merges for staff and family communications

Other related duties as assigned.

Manages the flow of goods, resources to ensure that critical processes run effectively to achieve org goals and performance KPI.

Manage all vendor setups/ changes including incoterms/payment terms

Manage month end process for closing the month accurately and on time including finalizing all receipts/workorders/adjustments and more.

Execute all purchase order requests from supply planner to quote and issue. Ensure all cogs meet cogs targets.

Expedite/ De-expedite pos as necessary based on supply plan.

Provide component availability updates to CMs and resolve any bottlenecks or problems that may arise.

Manage incoming purchasing requests and timely create order and track order progress

Required to have experience with Microsoft Office suite products: Outlook, Excel, Word

Working directly with purchasing director

Required to work with multiple vendors and purchasing sites

Create Purchase Orders in computer system

Entering Purchase Orders in our vendors websites

· Manage all vendor setups/ changes including incoterms/payment terms

· Expedite/ De-expedite pos as necessary based on supply plan.

· Provide component availability updates to CMs and resolve any bottlenecks or problems that may arise.

· Escalate any risks that may arise from production on timing/quality.

· Schedule all freight in for incoming pos – FG/ components.

· Ensure delivery of production to 3PL and availability of inventory on time.

Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).

Experience working in a public higher education purchasing environment or government purchasing experience, particularly experience with Texas agencies.

Knowledge of Texas Education Code Chapter 51 Subchapter T (Construction and Repair of Permanent Improvements).

Additional experience/education may substitute for education/experience on a one year for one year basis.

Within 18 months of hire, must possess one of the following required or preferred certifications:

Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM)

Help resolve issues with orders, inform Operations Manager of all pertinent problems and irregularities.

Oral and written communication skills.

Effective technical, interpersonal, organization and telephone etiquette skills.

Familiar with building maintenance needs/service requirements such as practices, materials, and equipment.

2+ years of experience in purchasing and ordering

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for IW purchasing and subcontracting process in compliance with CPSR requirements.

Review/convert purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and with organizational targets and requirements.

Review requirements document (i.e., statement of work, drawings, and specifications) for clarity and adequacy

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience required.

A minimum 4 years’ experience specific to government contract buying.

Management, Training and Scheduling of team of Buyers

Knowledge of Southern Nevada Health Food regulations and proper food handling certification

Must take and pass TAM (Techniques of Alcohol Management) Nevada training class.

Strong quantitative skills. Ability to “level” bids and present financial analysis supporting recommendations & decisions.

Knowledge of applicable laws and company policies regarding purchasing, vendor relations, and sales tax.

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution in a Business-related field.

Minimum of four (4) years of purchasing experience for a large operation.

Professional Certification (FCN/FCCM/CPP and/or CPPB) preferred.
