Production Assembly 2Nd Shift Jobs

Adhere to all AS9100 requirements as specified in work instructions and by your supervisor.

Ability to understand and work from blueprints, past experience with measuring tools.

Comfortable with technical issues, leveraging previous technical experience to solve technical problems

Perform all assembly, bonding, testing and screening in conformance with parts specifications.

Support operators by moving parts through manufacturing operations and assist with set-up tasks when necessary.

Clean parts in spotweld area as defined through work instructions.

Assists operators by unloading and loading parts on and off the conveyor wash line.

May perform visual inspection using work instructions and General Standards of Workmanship

Perform general clean-up duties of the equipment and surrounding areas as defined in the 5S Standards

Retrieving, returning, and organizing inspection gages, scrap chutes, and packaging materials.

1+ years of experience in a high volume manufacturing environment (specifically, small parts assembly)

General understanding of lean manufacturing and concepts

Required to work 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm)

Must be able to work overtime, including weekends and holidays

2nd Shift Production-Main Plant Qualifications

Second Shift ( Sunday through Saturday from 02:30pm to 10:30pm )

Be responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives

Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply, sales forecast and production ramp planning

Plan and administer procedures and budgets

Provide technical assistance to production personnel and work closely with production management to obtain high-quality workmanship from employees.

Assist production management in training new personnel relative to quality procedures and inspection techniques.

Report areas needing improvement and ongoing problems in assigned areas to appropriate management.

Will consider 3 years related Inspector/ Auditor and/or Test experience in lieu of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment

Provide on-site certification of workstations to assure proper environments are maintained for assembling and testing of product when required.
