Summer Crew (Part Time) - Production & Assembly: First Shift (Lpr-Vf1)

Looking for a part time summer job? Join our summer crew at Delta Faucet! Work schedule for Production Members on FIRST shift operations is 6:45am - 3:15pm on Monday and Fridays with opportunities for additional days. Pay range starts at $17.00 per hour. Part time team members enjoy the benefits of 401k and paid holidays.

The Delta-Lapeer facility manufactures plastic bath tubs, shower bases and coordinating wall units. It's really cool to pop into a store and see a product that you made on the shelf ready to make someone's home a showcase.

Essential job functions include but are not limited to:

• Lift, carry and place finished parts on the box
• Follow standardized work to meet production and quality expectations
• Make pass/fail quality decisions based on quality standards
• Stack completed boxes on the pallet and prep for stretch wrap
• Lift, carry and place parts on trim fixture
• Prep boxes with labels and instructions
• Participate in team environment with 2 – 5 team members in the area
• Close and staple the box using air powered staple gun
• Use hand tools to smooth rough edges

Physical Requirements of position:

• Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 20lbs. Occasionally work with pushing weights of up to 40lbs.
• Able to visually inspect parts for defects.
• Use hands to manipulate and operate hand tools and power tools.
• Able to bend, reach, twist and carry above shoulder / below waist level.
• Able to stand and walk for periods of up to 8 hours, with breaks.
