MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Once (1) or more years clinical experience in a physician’s practice or occupational health setting preferred

Demonstrates effective communication skills and ability to educate patients regarding their plan of care.

Performs nursing functions under the supervision of the charge nurse/clinical coordinator and providers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS

Track leave time, provide timely and accurate responses to employee and all levels of management and collaborate with the Benefits Team.

Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Monitor and oversee patient care including doctors’ visits, therapy sessions and return to work; collaborate with the Benefits Team.

Coordinate and collaborate with Wellness Coordinator to offer health and well-being events.

Current certification in CPR, AED and First/Aid or ability to become certified within 6 months of hire date.

Maintain medical documentation and conducts processes associated with worker’s compensation, fit testing, records management, and compliance

Experience with data entry and coordinating high-volume administrative processes

Minimum of 3 year’s of experience in an office setting; preferably in a medical or HR setting

Communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate

Fair solutions or well-developed writing skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Doctorate of Medicine (M.D.) is required.

Must be licensed by the State of Georgia without restriction to practice medicine.

Licensed in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Pediatrics

One (1) weekend shift per 4- week schedule. (Friday 7pm – Monday 7am)

Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S) required

Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.

Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems required.

Lead onsite trainings at Health Centers as needed and support Operations team on training of health center staff.

Integrates formal knowledge with clinical care, i.e., applies principles of I.V. Therapy to patient care and management.

Assures successful completion of CPR/BLS/ ACLS training per policy. (Attach certification card)

9. Demonstrates accurate skills in phlebotomy.

Adheres to policies and procedures established for meals, breaks, and parking.

Follows HHS and departmental policies and procedures to protect patient and employee privacy and confidentiality.

Complies with and enforces hospital visitation policy.

Ability to meet the minimum requirements for joining CIA, including U.S. citizenship and a background investigation

Provides after-hours consultation for case management of employees’ medical care as a result of injury as needed.

Preferred ergonomic assessment and evaluation experience as well as continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing setting

Provides emergency care, evaluation and follow up for occupational illness and injuries.

Provides health consultation, first aid, immunizations, and appropriate referrals for non-occupational concerns.

Treats, evaluates and assesses employee illness or injury and determine medical direction.

Supports and maintains medical and surveillance records as required by Company and/or regulatory agencies.

Three years of Registered Nurse experience required. Previous experience in Occupational Health strongly preferred.

Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a Registered Nurse required. Certification as Occupational Health Nurse preferred.

Coordinates and provides occupational health services to businesses in the service areas including health education and promotion, on-site treatment, and follow-up.

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred.

Communicates regularly with businesses/employers about services provided to employees, needed referrals, and outcome of care given.

Experience developing recruitment plans, sourcing and screening strategies, curriculum vitae evaluation, and candidate selection

Meet with hiring manages to acquire information needed to write well-written, appealing position descriptions

Develops and maintains working knowledge of the Mount Sinai Health System and all affiliates in order to assist with candidate inquiries

Works to maintain optimum levels of health, reduce absenteeism, reduce medical disabilities, and contain medical costs.

Position requires excellent interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and ability to maintain records and review test results.

Position requires interface with work groups and multidisciplinary teams to achieve above listed goals.
