Assists the Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan, organize, develop, implement and direct the activity program for residents in the facility.

Participates actively in facility teams, committees and task forces.

Maintain a service-oriented approach with all internal and external customers in a manner which promotes customer satisfaction.

Interest or experience in internal communications and knowledge management preferred.

Knowledge of area-based conservation, Indigenous peoples and local communities, sustainable development, and sustainable finance issues is preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. 

Strong relational skills with a willingness to work both collaboratively and independently.

Ability to set priorities, manage a multitude of details simultaneously, and collaborate effectively in a matrixed team environment.  

Performs other duties as needed.

Ability and knowledge to complete basic mathematics.

One year of experience providing customer service or administrative assistance in a detailed oriented, computerized, and/or data-oriented environment.

Bachelor’s degree in fire safety engineering or equivalent experience preferred.

At least three years’ experience in related field

Show excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Evaluates and assesses performance related to life safety and fire emergency readiness.

Investigates and evaluates safety incidents.

Performs fire drills on various shifts.

Organization and time management skills

Associates Degree preferred or equivalent experience in leading dementia activities

CNA or closely related field, or equivalent experience preferred, but not required. We will train you!

Previous experience working in Memory Care preferred.

Must have excellent computer skills and be comfortable with technology.

Must be able to adequately manage Activity employees and create a team atmosphere.

Must be able to read and write English.

Must be able to effectively communicate with residents, family of residents, volunteers, employees and community members.

Degree in TRS, COTA, Music Therapy, closely related field, or equivalent experience preferred, but not required. We will train you!

Assumes responsibility for professional development through participation in seminars, course work, and/or hospital educational programs.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in child life setting or equivalent position.

Spanish language abilities strongly preferred.
