Open Circle of Hopkins Adult Day Services, is hiring a Part-time Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team. This position is Monday through Friday with NO evenings, weekends, on-call or holiday shifts! Come and join our fun, close-knit family at our engaging adult day program. We will train you for this position!

In this role, you will work with a team to assist members with engaging activities with purpose such as arts groups, adult education, word games/ trivia, active games and music. Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with older adults (including those living with dementia), thrives in a positive work environment, and has good critical thinking skills. We are looking for someone who enjoys sharing your gifts/ talents with others and can appreciate working with a dedicated and collaborative team!

This is a Part-Time (20-24 hours per week) position working a minimum of three days a week between Monday-Friday, with option to work additional hours based on staffing needs. NO evenings, weekends, or holidays required! Hours: Flexible start time between 8:30 am - 10 am, with end time between 3:30 pm-4:30 pm.

Life Enrichment Assistant responsibilities:

• Support daily calendar activities. Daily programs include activities such as table games, arts and crafts, word games/trivia, active games, music, community outings and more.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
• Update the team on members’ progress, needs, and/or changes of behaviors.
• Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all members, families, and staff.

Life Enrichment Assistant requirements:

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• A compassionate attitude.
• Degree in TRS, COTA, Music Therapy, closely related field, or equivalent experience preferred, but not required. We will train you!
