Events Security Supervisor Jobs

Recognize and escalate to management all safety hazards and security vulnerabilities detected through the course of their shift.

YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum: Minimum five years experience in law enforcement or healthcare security

Preferred: Bachelors' or Associates' degree in Criminal Justice

Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Organizational Leadership, other applicable degrees or equivalent work experience

Certifications in Emergency Management (DHS/FEMA)

3-5 years security, law enforcement, military or other applicable experience

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

Previous experience providing training and orientation to new employees

Proficient knowledge MS Project, MS Office emphasis Excel, Word, and Outlook

Combination of related education and work experience to equal at least six years in law enforcement, security-related field, or management-related field

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience working and supervising security in a higher education setting

Create, communicate, and update employee schedules to support Security Operations Manager

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage conflict respectfully and constructively

Provide First Aid and CPR. Maintain certification for CPR and First Aid given by the hotel.

Previous Security or Police experienced preferred

Experience in CPR and First Aid

BA/BS Degree; or equivalent combination of relevant training and experience.

Demonstrated public speaking skills, and the ability to lead training courses.

Proficient with MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The pay rate for this position is $26/hr.

10+ years of experience in a law enforcement, military, or security role.

Knowledge of security hardware maintenance and troubleshooting.

Industry certifications, such as CPR, AED and basic life support.
