Commercial Hvac Service Account Manager Jobs

Communicates customer perceptions by gathering customer feedback and sharing information with management

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable

Develops multiple relationships with buying influences in the customer’s organization, including facility manager, project managers, project engineers, and purchasing

Three to five years of relevant experience in commercial/industrial HVAC project sales

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

A High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience

3+ years of experience servicing, troubleshooting and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment

Operating knowledge of Microsoft office and comfortable with hand-held devices (i.e. Smartphone, iPad)

Must be able to wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness and safety boots to safely perform job duties

3+ years of experience working with commercial HVAC equipment

Additional Requirements and Environmental Exposure:

Outstanding sales/negotiation skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills

Self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities

Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities, and opportunity pipeline

Experienced seller in attracting new customers as well as building share value with existing customers

Establishing and building credibility with knowledge of Carrier products/solutions

Clearly articulate the value of Carrier’s value offerings and how they map to the customers’ needs

Identifies, researches, and resolves dealer issues using analytical skills and Salesforce Client Relationship Management

5+ years’ experience in sales, account management, or related role

3-5 years’ experience in HVAC, home improvement, residential solar, contracting, or generator sales. HVAC and plumbing dealer management preferred

Additional Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Expertise in HVAC, plumbing, home improvement, generator and contractor dealer management and development. HVAC and plumbing dealer management preferred

Advises dealers on sound business practices, such as maintaining financial statements, working capital management, and SG & A planning

2+ years of Management experience preferred.
