Knowledge and understanding of the field of Applied Theatre and/or Educational Theatre;

Minimum of 4-7 years’ experience in Childcare

Team player and project coordination experience

Develop and implement programs, operating policies and activities as required; develop cost estimates for future program needs for the kid’s Club.

Confer with parents on a regular basis to discuss the development of their enrolled children.

Conduct marketing campaigns, maintain public relations with parents.

Order and maintain childcare supplies and equipment.

Highly organized, excellent management skills, and strong writing and verbal skills required

Prior successful experience leading and overseeing DYCD programs and strong skillsets in managing program operations; including development, implementation and evaluation.

Maintain relationships with a network of schools, employer partners, community-based organizations, as well as expand and manage external and internal partnerships

Develop and manage program and data reports to provide routine updates to leadership

Minimum of three-five (5-7) years of relevant supervisory experience

Assess the youth and determine the youth’s needs. Youth Partners will serve as a knowledgeable source of community resources

Recent (in the past 5 years) personal life experience as a youth who has been involved in the Child Welfare system

Maintains and updates the Project Manual to ensure project management complies with regulatory and statutory requirements.

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education

Develops project document management protocols and ensure they are implemented.

Assesses needs for project management training and manages training sessions.

Manages design and construction project budgets for all capital projects to ensure projects are within budget and prepares status reports.

Manages special projects as assigned which may include master planning, sector studies, and other studies as assigned.

Maintain accurate records including member/staff attendance, finances, incidents reports, licensing requirements, etc.

Manage program budget, spending and tracking.

Minimum of three years' experience managing youth programs and supervising staff.

Experience in working with urban youth.

Excellent organizational skills, attentiveness to detail and ability to follow through with multiple projects.

Experience with collaborative, team-oriented environments.
