Demonstrated public relations and leadership skills in working with program parents, school personnel, children and co-workers.

Some positions may have additional responsibilities such as

Skilled in monitoring, mentoring and developing youth. Experience with low income students a plus.

1-2 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in a residential program.

Strong organizational skills including skills in planning and multi-tasking.

High School diploma and some post-secondary work.

Flexibility, with ability to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast pace environment.

Candidates should demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as all MHS staff are considered to be role models for MHS students.

Creating positive and supportive relationships with youth.

You are a Spanish speaker.

Training in child development education, teaching in or equivalent early childhood programs/elementary education programs, and evidence of successful experiences preferred.

Planning/Implementing various activities for groups of school-aged children ages ranging from 5-12

Support children's social/emotional and behavioral needs according to child development

Provides minimal homework support for students as needed

Based on minimum education, experience would range between 1-4 years.
