They must be able to safely and accurately maneuver trailers and containers in and out of the yard, as well as to and from loading docks. They must also be able to accurately read and interpret shipping documents, and ensure that all trailers and containers are properly loaded and unloaded. Yard Spotters must also be able to accurately record and report any discrepancies or damage to trailers and containers. Job Skills Required
