Job Description
Job Title
LTO/Spotter - Night Shift Position Available (Plant 8S, Columbia, SC)
Position Overview
To safely and efficiently move trailers to and from plant docks as required to meet production, storage and shipping requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Spot empty chip tankers at the loading station when requested and move full tankers to staging area as requested.
  • Operate a lift truck with fork or clamp attachment.
  • Perform Housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean warehouse.
  • Move full trailers to dock and/or yard staging areas as needed.
  • Assist recycle material handling in the warehouse.
  • Load, unload, stage shipments.
  • Assist Dock LTO loading/unloading trailers.
  • Spot empty trailers at multiple dock doors as needed.
  • Operate floor scrubber .
  • Perform product/supplies inventory functions when required.
Requirements:
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
  • Must meet DOT requirements.
  • Must have had satisfactory driving record for the past three years.
  • Must be able to read and write in English to ensure accuracy on all paperwork.
  • Must be capable of climbing into and out of truck up to 40 times per day.
  • Must be able to drive truck up to 12 hours per day.
  • Must be capable of unlocking and opening doors, carrying small rolls of carpet (up to 30 lbs).
  • Previous experience driving a tractor trailer truck strongly preferred.
$20.24 Per Hour
