8+ years of direct B2B selling to C-Suite or Executive teams of waste management companies

Waste Management Solid Waste Specialist

Required qualifications for this position include experience in all of the following:

Review recycling and solid waste facility submittals, including annual reports, to determine compliance with the administrative code requirements and plan approvals.

Experience in communicating in both oral and written formats to external and internal customers

Knowledge of the truck and its components and the basic maintenance Requirements: for safe operation

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired

Minimum one (1) years of commercial driving experience OR CDL school certificate

Drives a rear-load, split body, curotto, or automated-side load truck along designated routes to collect waste and take to post-collection facilities

As route conditions require, driver will assist helper(s) in loading solid waste into truck hopper

Utilize helpers while backing up according to Company policy

- Discovering/negotiating with waste management companies, conducting audit

-Coordinating and managing the schedule with the waste management companies

-On site management of waste collection, operation, ensuring timely and proper collection.

-Provide waste collection services for new EV plant in Savannah, including both general waste and hazardous waste.

-Communication with clients, addressing their requests and requirments.

-Audit, analyzing and collate EHS performance data and proposes effective improvements -Ensure any plant hazardous waste

Be trained in the management of Hazardous Waste

Monitor and manage levels of hazardous waste at each department's satellite accumulation area

Minimum of 2 years of experience implementing and overseeing aspects related to the hazardous waste compliance

Have a current DOT certification for the shipment of Hazardous Waste

Experience in managing hazardous waste storage and satellite accumulation areas

Experience with emergency response crews in incidents involving hazardous and non-hazardous material releases to air, soil and water

Waste Management Operator II (G.19, $41,089.20-$63,688.26)

$2000 at conclusion of probationary period (with “meets expectation performance rating)

Perform daily inspection of equipment to detect present or potential maintenance problems.

Perform preventative maintenance as per manufacturer’s operations manual and Automotive Services policies.

Identify opportunities for innovation and knowledge sharing in the field of e-waste management.

Experience in developing and implementing e-waste management strategies and programs is an advantage.

Knowledge of international best practices and standards in e-waste management is preferred.

Support the development of the e-waste management strategy and action plan in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Conduct assessments and studies to identify the current status of e-waste management in Papua New Guinea and recommend appropriate interventions.

Experience operating either an Automated Side Loader or Knuckle-Arm Boom

Successful experience in coordinating cradle to grave management and disposition of non-hazardous, hazardous, chemical, and radioactive wastes

Basic knowledge of and experience with handling, characterizing, packaging, and/or transporting solid, liquid, hazardous, radioactive, and/or mixed wastes

Understanding of work hazards, safety practices, operating configurations, security, environment and quality objectives and requirements.

Basic work experience with a laboratory or R&D plant/facility that generated multiple waste types
