Warehouse Forklift Driver Jobs in Florida

High school diploma, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience & skills you need:

Experience driving industrial vehicles, preferably forklifts.

Current certification to operate forklifts in accordance with OSHA standards.

Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and attention to detail.

Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.

Report all warehouse protocol violations to manager immediately.

Report any building maintenance or building safety concerns to warehouse manager immediately.

Box Truck Driving experience highly preferred.

Load trucks making sure to secure the load to avoid damage in transit.

Organize Job bins for jobsite materials.

Safely drive from warehouse to make deliveries.

Basic computer skills, accurate data entry skills, math & mechanical aptitude, basic reading skills

Are you a proactive hands-on warehouse person looking to use your customer service skills to build customer loyalty?

1+ yr+ proven customer service / warehouse experience, ideally in a distribution or parts counter environment

Knowledge of industrial distribution products

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Are you an ambitious, hard working individual interested in career growth?

Minimum 12 months experience operating stand up forklifts in a processing or cold storage environment

Manifesting experience in a warehouse environment is preferred

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Read daily order sheet to be able to select and move the correct tote of product

Knowledge and experience with repair and maintenance of medium-duty vehicles

Knowledge and experience with safety regulations, i.e. OSHA, DOT as they apply to the operation

Minimum 2 years of warehouse and/or commercial driving experience preferred

Excellent follow-up skills with the ability to complete assignments/projects through to completion.

Maintaining a safe and professional working environment.

Delivering and transporting construction materials to/from jobsites.
