Warehouse Forklift Driver Jobs in Illinois

At least 3 months of stand up forklift experience required.

A forklift certification is required from Nation Pizza and Foods within 48 hours of the start of their employment.

Previous standup forklift experience and experience with bar coding and automatic data collection would be helpful.

Excellent organizational skills as well multi-tasking skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, picklists, shipping orders or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.

Prior experience working in a warehouse

Highly organized and must be able to perform multiple tasks at a time

Arrive and be ready to start work on time each day

Ability to use a forklift

Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment a plus

6 months prior warehouse forklift experience

Forklift certification is required or obtained immediately upon hire.

Position must pass a post offer drug test, Pre-Work Screen, and background check

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Responsible for moving product or materials in a production or warehouse environment using powered tools and vehicles

Operate stretch wrapper safely. Operate the warehouse management system to check manufacturing inventory, locations

Assist less experienced material handlers when necessary.

Ability and responsibility to stop any manufacturing or warehouse process that is not meeting customer quality production requirements.

Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)

High School Diploma/Equivalent preferred. Zero to two years’ experience required.

Be able to complete Material Handler Forklift Training Checklist.

Knowledge of safety procedures and safety awareness.

Knowledge of basic forklift operations.

Knowledge of how the hydraulics system of a forklift works.

Skill to work in a team oriented environment.

Coordination skills and good reflexes.

1 year experience driving a forklift.

Provide raw materials to the production line

Remove full product from the line

Load trailers with full products properly

Maintain piece pallets and rework bad pallets

Maintain cleanliness of driving area

Perform daily safety check on Hi-Lo vehicles
