Accomplishes special projects and other assignments/duties as required by management

Plans supply and material requirements by studying production schedule, scheduling deliveries to the production area

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the Field or similar manufacturing/warehouse environment; 2 years preferred in Forklift position

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Prior experience as a forklift operator.

Forklift or heavy machinery certification required.

Can operate a Sit Down and Stand Up Forklifts

Coordinate replenishment and conduct physical cycle counts

Can carry up to 18lbs of materials

Drives sit-down and stand-up forklifts, and other industrial vehicles such as automated and manual pallet jacks as needed.

Help with the shipping/receiving, pull orders, and packaging materials for shipments

Cleaning and organizing warehouse as needed

Load delivery truck with pallets and boxes of customer orders

Deliver products to various local customers

Must be able to pass DMV and background check

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Experience using hand pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and forklift is a plus.

Obtain and maintain OSHA10 certification as applicable

Obtain and maintain forklift certification as applicable

Work closely with Field Personnel, Project Managers, Superintendents and Field Coordinator

Properly store and deliver material and products such that their integrity and quality are maintained

Timely receive and stage material as directed to ensure safe and easy access in the warehouse

Timely distribute (and receive, as applicable) material to ensure consistent and efficient jobsite flows

Unload material, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks; inspecting material for minimum MRC Global quality requirements;

Assemble customer orders from stock and package orders in boxes and pallets as per customer requirements;

High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree);

Typing and basic computer skills;

Knowledge of or ability to learn MRC Global warehouse operations and business processes;

Basic math and good reading skills.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

At least 1 year of experience operating a sit down lift and clamp truck

Operate sit down forklift, clamp truck, and pallet jacks to move items throughout the warehouse

Stock products and load totes for delivery

Track and record units of materials handled

Ability to read and follow work instructions in English.

Ability to work closely with others in a team environment.

Warehouse management systems (WMS) experience is preferred

Knowledge of scanning freight in/out of the warehouse

Detail oriented and strong follow-up skills

Forklift experience (stand up is preferred)

Warehouse and / or Freight Forwarding industry experience strongly preferred

Receives, sorts, and segregates incoming shipments for warehouse / distribution facilities

Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Basic knowledge of arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Knowledge of safe equipment and machinery operations and procedures.

Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their operation, uses, and maintenance.

One year or more of forklift experience.

Observes safety protocols and if applicable, manufacturer's instructions when performing tasks.
