Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/ID) and State Licensing requirements

Member condition and medical/physical changing care needs

Providing appropriate treatment in emergency situations

Developing, analyzing and implementing treatment care plans and documenting properly

Making nursing judgment and effective problem solving

Apply appropriate nursing skills in the care and treatment of inmates/residents.

Operate pill call, dispense medication and document as required by applicable policies and/or procedures.

Control medication, syringes, and other medical supplies or equipment and inventory as required by established procedures.

Maintain absolute security and confidentiality of all medical records.

PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Full-time employment. (8 hours/day; 40 hours/week)

Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.

Sucessful completion of Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) Training, within 30 days of employment
