Proficiency in clinical skills as well as the processes involved in maintaining a smooth flow of patients

Responsible for clinical assessment of patients' needs and implementing a plan of action to accomplish established goals for all scheduled shifts

Acts as a clinical mentor to members of the call center team

Understands when to delegate calls

Acts as a liaison between the patient and the clinical sites

Schedules routine and acute appointments for patients based on their needs

Good knowledge of facilities, services, and practitioners in the local medical community.

Responds to emergency telephone calls from the consumers, provides crisis counseling, supportive counseling, and referral to therapists based on consumer needs.

Completes medication profiles and inventories.

Administers prescribed medication including injections and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, Oklahoma licensing laws, and provider orders.

May obtain labs using aseptic technique per provider orders.

Advises other staff members regarding medical issues and consumers medication under direction of the RN or Provider.
