20+ years of industry experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology organization in the preclinical and translational space

Proven experience leading oncology, immunology or immuno-oncology drug development

Experience with regulatory submissions, creating regulatory documents (INDs, CTAs, NDAs etc.) and interacting with global regulatory agencies

Accompany Medical Geneticist to circuit riding sites as often as once per month.

Supervise genetic counseling students as they rotate through clinic.

Participate in activities which improve KFHPWs Genetics program by working with the medical geneticist to develop clinical indicators for quality assurance.

Experience with hypothesis generation and testing and/or rapid prototyping and iteration

Experience developing a digital therapeutic subject to regulatory oversight

Direct clinical treatment experience and strong understanding of evidence-based treatment principles for depression and anxiety (for either adolescents or adults)

At least 3 years of experience post completion of terminal degree

Direct experience working with a product development team to build interventions

At least 1 year of experience working in an industry setting

PhD or equivalent experience in medical imaging analysis, including traditional (e.g., atlas based) and modern machine learning methods (deep learning).

Three or more years of experience in analyzing large imaging datasets in drug discovery/development or relevant academic setting.

Experience with PACS systems and image annotation tools.

Conduct and communicate complex statistical analyses of medical imaging studies to support trial design and registration activities.

Work expeditiously as a member of matrixed clinical trials teams with diverse membership and expertise

Strong grasp of the strength and limitations of different imaging modalities (e.g., CT, MRI, PET-CT, ultrasound, OCT, fundoscopy)

Lead implementation of genetic data management solutions using FAIR (findability, accessibility, interoperability, and reusability) data principles

Work with a community of human geneticists to design and implement a human genetics capabilities roadmap and enhance integrative analytical pipelines

PhD with 3+ years of postdoctoral or industry experience in human genetics research.

Solid experience in data architecture and methods development.

Solid knowledge of Unix, command lines interfaces, and fluency in common scripting and/or programming language (e.g. R, Python, Perl, Java, C/C++)

Solid experience with parallel computing, cloud computing, and graphics processing units (GPUs).

Interface with Informatics team to optimize data processing, storage, and study management.

Manage translational research studies in a matrixed environment.

Experience using data informatics tools would be helpful, including electronic notebook systems, databases.

Knowledge of programming languages such as R would be helpful, but not required.

BS/BA or MS/MA in neuroscience, pharmacology, biomedical science or related scientific discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Project Management experience within the science realm

Advanced and fluid Excel skills are also a must have.

Experience with the following molecular biology techniques/platforms is required: DNA/RNA/protein extraction, qPCR, NanoString, RNAseq and ELISA/MSD/Luminex/Singulex.

Immunologist with human-based tissue experience is highly preferred.

Experience with complex in vitro multi-cell assay systems (including tissue organoids, LPMCs and human biopsy explants).

Assay development experience using preclinical and clinical systems (including tissue, whole blood, and murine cells).

Experience with flow cytometric assays (examples include Symphony, CyTOF and cell sorting).

PhD (or equivalent industry experience) in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, cancer biology, immunology, or a related field

Deep understanding of cancer biology and experience working with publicly available datasets used to interrogate molecular mechanisms (e.g., TCGA)

Excellent cross-functional communication and teamwork skills, working with both computational and experimental scientists

Experience partnering with pharma in biomarker identification or companion diagnostics development

Experience working with liquid handling platforms for high-throughput research projects

Experience mentoring and training research associates

A Master’s of Science degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference: Biology, Microbiology, Genetics or Similar

Experience with molecular biology techniques including PCR and gel electrophoresis

Experience in DNA extraction and amplification

Experience in querying genomic database

Experience with acquisition and analysis of nucleic acid and amino acid sequence data

Experience managing large data sets and maintaining highly organized and detailed research records.

Experience establishing organizational systems to improve efficiency and functioning in a changing environment.

Maintain an organized system of tracking, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks and projects.

Create, modify and/or maintain organized files and records.

Provide communications support and assistance to ensure timely responses to inquiries.

Act as liaison for team with internal & external partners, answering questions, and routing requests appropriately.

Take and distribute minutes of meetings.

Collects portfolio data, identifies trends and communicates issues to program team.

Assists program team with annual pipeline planning process.

Contact genetic testing laboratories regarding sample availability, sample requirements, test costs, and other relevant information.

Valid American Heart Association BLS Certification within three months of employment and continue to maintain as required.

Discuss insurance coverage information with families and coordinate genetic counseling consent appointments and sample collection.

Work with Genetic Counselors and other clinical providers to draft letters of medical necessity and result letters for genetic testing.

Complete Genetic Testing requisition forms.

Prepares patient education materials and patient-centered educational events.

Strongly preferred one year of experience in either a laboratory setting or healthcare or insurance customer service setting

Contacts families to get medical records releases signed/transmitted

Ensures all records are collected and available for review with physician

Prepare and prepopulate documentation with physician

Assist with documentation of the patient visit

Ensures compliance with proper safety procedures, protocols, and record keeping requirements; and ensures proper disposal of laboratory materials and hazardous waste.

Participates in other aspects of research, manages financial transactions and budgets, maintains equipment.

Develops standard operating procedures and safety protocols.

Compiles reports and contributes to publications.

Assists with identifying funding opportunities and drafts grant proposals.

Develops lab/facility standard operating procedures and processes.
