Laboratory skills including assembling and testing PC boards with 0402 size surface mount components.

Working knowledge with Microsoft office tools, AutoCAD, and RF computer aided design and layout software.

Design RF and microwave circuitry for frequency synthesis products from 50 MHz up to 9 GHz.

Support existing products by assembling prototypes and testing.

Experience with Configuration and Data Management (CDM) of Hardware and Software

Master's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

Manage the repair and/or replacement of RF subsystem components (couplers, attenuators, phase shifters, mixers, filters, isolators, et al.)

Experience operating complex RF test equipment including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, et al.

Working knowledge of copper & fiber ethernet topologies and implementation of time keeping services such as IRIG-B and GPS

Experience design and operating real-time, closed-loop RF HWIL simulators

Maintain sound knowledge of current principles and practices in a specialized engineering field.

Knowledge of analog circuit design and analysis.

BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience

1-3 years of experience in the wireless telecommunications industry

General understanding and or working knowledge in one or more of the following platforms and/or technologies: CDMA, EVDO, LTE, VoLTE

Good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

Configure drive test date collection equipment according to engineer parameters

Verify the diversity and the main branch for new sites on air

Two-year degree in Electronics or equivalent experience.

2+ years of RF microwave test experience.

Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.

Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems.

Adjust and replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronics components, using hand tools and soldering iron.

Write reports and record data on testing techniques, laboratory equipment, and specifications to assist engineers.

Knowledge of equipment capacity and future capabilities.

Driving requirements, develop process flows, develop priorities and work with NS, HQ, and regions to develop Fuze Planning.

Preform post installation certification to assure compliance with manufactures specifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Telecommunications; or equivalent experience is required.

Experienced in the use of spectrum analyzers, signal generators, RF filters, watt-meters, multi-meters and other standard test equipment types.

Demonstrate knowledge of IP v4 and IPv6 networking, ability to configure modems/ routers, in addition to simple firewall policies/Access Lists.

Perform field upgrades of hardware, software, and firmware.

Interact with multi-disciplinary groups, our partners and customers.

Between 3 to 10 years of experience performing the duties described under “Responsibilities”

Document any defect found during testing using the Defect Management Database

Develop/manage system and Operational Flight Program (OFP) requirements

Investigate defects/discrepancies and document them as System Anomaly Reports (SARs)/Software Trouble Report (STRs) and enter into Defect Management System (DMS)

Review technical architecture documents, design and user documentation, product specifications and requirements; identify documentation defects and suggest corrections

Develop systems and software test procedures, write test plans, and create test cases based on requirements and design documentation

Using knowledge of GSM, LTE, CDMA 1x, EVDO and microwave to contribute to network design.

Utilizing Verizon tools such as Fuze, Canvas, Atoll and others to manage projects.

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Experience in RF design and optimization.

Knowledge of RF theory and practice, as well as LTE/VoLTE technology.

Basic understanding and experience in LTE/5G optimization Additional skills

Experience: 5-years’ Customer Support and tier 2 triage resolution
