Job Description
Overview:
In this role, you will secure delivery performance in alignment with the business case and managed service targets. You will be responsible to secure the quality and cost of the services delivered from their delivery unit either global or local in accordance with the expected levels agreed in the Working Level Agreements (WLA) and handle service performance requirements (global benchmark and targets). You will need to understand and act upon the end-to-end delivery performance even when the delivery is fragmented, thru a proper coordination with a MS Delivery Manager responsible for other parts of the delivery.
Responsibilities:

You will need to understand and act upon the end-to-end delivery performance even when the delivery is fragmented, thru a proper coordination with a MS Delivery Manager responsible for other parts of the delivery.
  • Persuading and influencing with argumentation skills
  • You will, also identify delivery trends-possible and providing analysis for automation
  • You will lead MS delivery operational and customer satisfaction
  • Drive operational excellence in field resolution
  • Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
  • Handle specific Code Red Critical Support for RAN business for level 1 and 2
  • You will conduct Operating Level Agreements (OLA) signed with other service delivery units
Qualifications:
  • Understand the impact of adding additional carrier(s) on the network including 5G Optimization
  • Basic knowledge of the Ericsson ENM, and how to operate the optimization tools
  • Experience in working with different services including 5G NR, Massive MIMO, mmWave, LAA (License Assisted Access), 4G LTE, IOT, CBRS and/or multi-vendor
  • Experience: 5-years’ Customer Support and tier 2 triage resolution
  • Ability to operate independently
  • Knowledge of the ACP (Automatic Cell Planning) tool
  • Able to perform event analysis and address accessibility, retainability and HO success rate issues Design
  • Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking
  • Basic understanding of inputs required, and how to create a new project in a planning tool, tilt/azimuth optimization, proposing new site locations etc.
  • Basic understanding of Layer 3 messaging
  • Basic understanding of the link budget
  • Education: Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom)
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Basic knowledge of KPIs and able to make recommendations to improve them
  • Ability to coordinate activities with various Ericsson departments
  • Understands the relationship between Handovers and Network Capacity, and how to optimize both
  • Understand how enhance uplink tuning is performed
  • Basic understanding and experience in LTE/5G optimization Additional skills
  • Basic understanding of optimization tools such as TEMS investigation, Actix, Agilent and R&S
  • Understanding of layer 3 messages for 4G and 5G
  • Relating and networking
  • Knowledge on how IRAT procedures can affects the overall network quality
  • Leading and supervising, have coaching skills
  • Able to make recommendations in parameter changes, feature activations on drive test data to improve the system performance
  • Basic understanding of planning tools such as Planet EV and Atoll
  • Ability to identify and interpret customer requirements, and develop plans to address them
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Market insight, business understanding and Ericsson knowledge
  • Basic understanding of Monte Carlo Analysis
  • Flexibility of extensive travel within the US
  • Has basic competence to implement and experiment on RAN features relative to traffic analysis
  • Experience in tuning a loaded network, and understand the difference between artificial and real traffic loading
  • Domain experience: area of expertise – e.g., RAN, Core, Cloud, BSS, OSS etc.
  • Knowledge of a perform model tuning to Identify add-on sales opportunities Tuning
  • Suggests improvements to tools
  • Able to collect and analyze drive data and performance statistics, and solve issues
  • Able to make recommendations to improve a network design (cell plan)
  • Recent experience in radio network design, implementation and/or tuning/optimization systems is required.
