2-3 Years of experience in collections and recovery (Mortgage or Credit Cards)

Experience in financial services or related industries (mortgage experience preferred)

Bachelor's Degree or comparable work experience in financial services

Foundation Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

Healthcare collections experience is preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred or the equivalence in experience

Consumer credit knowledge and basic advisory credit knowledge

Minimum three to five (3-5) years of high-volume corporate collections experience with preference for professional services or law firm experience

Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures

Exceptional written and oral communication skills

Experience with Elite 3E, e-billing Hub and/or ARCS software preferred.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

1-2 years of direct experience in credit and collections; knowledgeable in sales, negotiation and persuasion tools

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Increase the collection of outstanding payments within our personal finance department, as an individual contributor in the collections process

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Prior telemarketing experience with financial products preferred

Obtaining and maintaining a firm understanding and knowledge of state-specific statutes relating to title

Frequently contact Title Forward employees including Closing Specialists and Closing Coordinators to clearly articulate title requirements and work towards their resolution.

Industry Experience: Experience in related fields such as title, mortgage underwriting, law/legal, or real estate are ideal for this position.

Reviewing abstracts and identifying the title issues needing additional information or resolution

Coordinating with team members to ensure applicable fees are added to appropriate settlement documents

Ordering payoffs for liens and judgments, including but not limited to mortgages

Excellent written and verbal skills

Inspects sample sites and perform repairs or upgrades as needed

Flush distribution systems and maintain system flushing records; respond to inquiries from customers related to water quality

Operates and maintains chlorine pumps

Monitors and records chlorine residuals throughout the distribution systems

Monitors and records overall operation and security of well sites

Interpersonal skills/expectations include: Excellent communication skills. Effective telephone skills a must.

Organization skills/expectations include: Attention to detail necessary.

Working on all denied/partially paid claims until full payment is received

Thorough understanding of all common and uncommon denials

Working in a time-efficient manner to cover all denied claim from assigned homes

Understanding when to forward a case to the biller/tracker

Thorough knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT and modifier codes

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Strong computer skills including billing/coding systems and intermediate Excel skills

Review and process correspondence from assigned insurance companies regarding diagnostic and procedure code denials.

Work rejections for insurance companies regarding diagnostic and procedure code denials.

Contact insurance companies for verification of claim status and clarification of denials.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience

2+ years of experience in commercial collections with strong knowledge of collection process
