Overview A Supply Management Officer is responsible for managing the supply chain of an organization. They are responsible for ensuring that the organization has the right amount of supplies and materials to meet its needs. They also manage the procurement of supplies and materials, as well as the storage and distribution of them. Detailed Job Description A Supply Management Officer is responsible for managing the supply chain of an organization. This includes overseeing the procurement of supplies and materials, as well as the storage and distribution of them. They must ensure that the organization has the right amount of supplies and materials to meet its needs. They must also ensure that the supplies and materials are of the highest quality and are obtained at the best possible price. They must also manage the inventory of supplies and materials, and ensure that they are stored and distributed in a timely and efficient manner. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
• Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures
• Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices
• Knowledge of storage and distribution processes and procedures

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management
• Certification in supply chain management or related field (e.g. APICS, ISM, etc.)
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
• Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures
• Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices
• Knowledge of storage and distribution processes and procedures
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
Job Experience
• At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management
• Experience in negotiating and building relationships with suppliers
• Experience in managing inventory and storage and distribution processes
• Experience in analyzing data and making decisions
