Maintains compliance of HHAs with corporate policies, state regulations, and contractual requirements

Assigns HHAs to deliver requested service to VNS clients

Ensures the delivery of high quality service by supervising activities of assigned HHA staff

Initiates appropriate corrective action and documentation by coaching, counseling, and terminating HHAs as required, in a timely effective manner

Evaluates the administrative performance of HHAs

Ensures staff compliance with International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security certification requirements.

High school diploma, GED or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience).

Supervises UHealth Security Professionals in their shift responsibilities.

Actively manage the threat environment to prevent or minimize the effects of workplace violence.

Able to obtain certification in Non-violent Crisis Intervention via Crisis Prevention Institute.

Able to obtain certification in Healthcare Defensive Tactics System via Personal Safety Training Institute.

Provide full program management and supervisory responsibility of ergonomics division, physical job demand testing program, and SPO health and fitness staff.

Identity, Credential, and Access Management

Conduct SPO physical fitness qualification tests as needed, as well as provide strength and conditioning training as necessary.

Manage health and fitness program for MSTS Fire and Rescue Service.

Provide leadership that supports Public Health accreditation, emphasizing performance management processes and measurements.

Supervise, manage, and monitor the operations of a Family Health Home Visiting work unit and associated programs.

Plan, initiate, and evaluate assigned Maternal Child Health programs to meet community needs and best practice standards.

Develop recommendations for and implement program policies and procedures, including work and program standards and outreach activities.

Conduct interviews of applicants and make recommendations for hiring staff into established positions.

Develop, monitor, and analyze quarterly reports and grant proposals.

Five (5) years of home care experience as a Registered Nurse within the last seven (7) years.

Three (3) years of home care experience managing caregivers within the last five (5) years.

Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state(s) in which he/she practices, BSN preferred.

Current CPR and First Aid Certification.

Experience in building relationships with a wide range of age groups including campers, staff, volunteers, and parents.

General nursing experience with large numbers of school age children.

Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent combination of work experience and education.

Makes recommendations regarding fiscal and staffing requirements of the unit to assist in the preparation of budgetary recommendations.

Ensures adequate staffing for unexpected/emergency coverage.

Provides work direction, guidance, coaching and training for staff.

Establishes, reviews and revises work processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective administrative activities.

Compiles information reflecting expenditures and develops comparisons.

Reviews clinical documentation for accuracy and provides educational feedback to clinicians regarding findings.

Strong QA experience in the home healthcare area

Follows accepted standards of clinical practice.

Able to provide proof of valid driver's license, in accordance with office policy.

Able to provide proof of valid auto liability insurance in accordance with office policy.
