Overview A Substance Use Monitor is responsible for monitoring and assessing individuals who are receiving treatment for substance use disorders. They provide support and guidance to individuals in recovery, and help them to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to maintain sobriety. They also provide education and resources to individuals and families in order to promote healthy lifestyles and reduce the risk of relapse. Detailed Job Description A Substance Use Monitor is responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals in recovery from substance use disorders. They monitor and assess individuals in order to ensure that they are following their treatment plans and making progress towards their recovery goals. They provide education and resources to individuals and families in order to promote healthy lifestyles and reduce the risk of relapse. Substance Use Monitors also provide support to individuals in crisis, and help them to access appropriate services. Job Skills Required
