Health Care Project Manager ($50/hour)

At least 1 year of professional RN experience

Assesses, plans and evaluates nursing care to culturally diverse adult/geriatric veteran populations

Supervises nursing staff and veteran care activities on assigned units.

Ensures that Veteran care goals are mutually established with Veterans, families, and staff.

Plans for optimal utilization of staff for the delivery of nursing care throughout the 24-hour/7 days-a-week period.

Current and valid registration as a professional nurse under the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing

Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field.

Work under minimal supervision. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals.

Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.

04-06 years related experience required.

Adheres to all policies and procedures

Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique and CAPS Standard Operating Procedures.

Minimum two years clerical or secretarial experience

Good oral and written communication skills

Post secondary education or course work

Minimum of one year supervisory experience

Responds to inquiries and requests for information.

Using current technology, prepares correspondence, reports, notices, and other documents.
