Staff Development Specialist I Jobs

Knowledge and writing experience in medical coding, reimbursement, healthcare a plus (CPC or similar AAPC credential preferred)

Experience working with remote/international teams a plus

Five years non-fiction writing/content production experience with a track record for developing polished, high-impact content for print, web, or other media

Exceptional communication skills (written and oral)

Requires two (2) years of professional experience in education or a related field.

Two (2) years of professional experience working with training theories, methods and applying current techniques.

Two (2) years of professional experience contributing to the development of, or interpreting policies, procedures and best practices.

Two (2) years of professional experience conducting group and individual training sessions

Bachelor's degree in Human Capital, Training and Development, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Technology, or relevant experience

Manager onboarding programming and materials within various technologies

Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the onboarding experience and recommend innovative solutions to improve the process

Keep records of CPR Certification and Cards of all Employees and monitor to coordinate renewals with Classroom Education nurse

Do observations of staff skills.

Test staff according to skills needed to perform job

Must have previous experience in Long Term Care and previous experience managing/supervising staff.

Responsibilities of the position will include:

Appropriate educational substitutions can be made for the required experience.

Knowledge of City of Boston neighborhoods preferred.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Answers incoming calls from constituents on a variety of neighborhood concerns.

Mediates calls from residents to the appropriate departments for escalated submitted cases.

Daily uses Lagan system to create and close cases appropriately.

Uses the Nursing Process as the framework for management of patient care.

Attends department specific education/training, inservices, and staff meetings.

Provides for the education of patients, family, and others.

One Year Acute Care Experience Preferred.

Consistently applies infection control policies/practices.

Department specific performance improvement project.

Strong Christian faith, knowledge of God's Word and ability to lead others to Christ.

Strong communication skills, both in person and via technology.

The Department of Juvenile Justice offers an excellent benefits package including:
