Ability to work year-round: part-time (16hours/week) during school session and full-time (40 hours/week) during summer

JAVA or other object oriented programming language

Implement best practices in management of data, including master data, reference data, metadata, data quality and lineage.

Knowledge of and experience with automated testing.

Knowledge and experience of deployment of Spark Notebooks.

Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage cloud-based production system, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of productions systems.

· A college degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience

2+ years of experience using Python and knowledge of a second object-oriented programming language

20% - Collaborate with data scientists and BI analysts to understand data models and data ingestion requirements

2+ years of experience using SQL for data warehousing and ETL development

High level knowledge of designing/building/deploying production-level data pipelines on scalable, distributed systems or multi-node database paradigms

Prefer candidate who can work east-coast hours. No other requirements for physical activity and work environment.

30% - Build and maintain data pipelines using Python code base

Familiarity with Project Management software, like Atlassian JIRA/Confluence
