Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Airtable, JIRA, Asana, Monday)

Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Strong knowledge of social media platforms, their video formats and best practices

Proven experience in managing video content for social media platforms

Facilitate the delivery and publishing of requested video content from the Social Marketing team

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

●Sharp editorial instincts and skills, with a track record in pitching stories and reporting

●Collaborative, with proactive and inclusive interpersonal and communication skills

●Working quickly and collaboratively to produce engaging, accurate video on daily deadlines.

●Using appropriate sound design as an aspect of compelling storytelling.

●Using data and analytics to help guide editorial and audience development.

1-2 years of proven experience creating compelling, shareable video or other viral content

Experience with DSLRs, basic sound/lighting equipment, and video editing

Experience and/or expertise in the streaming space

Adobe Creative Suite experience (especially Adobe Premiere)

Extremely knowledgeable about TikTok and YouTube

Ability to manage multiple projects throughout all stages of production

Social Media management experience, ideally for a company or institution

What Will Be Your Responsibilities

Create and distribute Mashable and PCMag content across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest

Organize and publish video content

Write engaging, clean copy that's consistent with the Mashable and PCMag voice

Help brainstorm and create vertical video for Tiktok and Instagram Reels

Minimum 3-5 years experience doing video strategy, with proven success

Advanced skills in social video editing and strategy backed by a compelling portfolio

Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills

Build and drive a comprehensive social video strategy across platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and YT Shorts

Stay abreast of emerging social media platforms and identify opportunities for growth and engagement, tracking trends, internet culture and memes

Monitor performance metrics and provide recommendations for optimization

Highly organized, with a track record of effective project management in school and/or work

Reports to the Manager, Digital Communications and will collaborate with other communication-based Fellows

Must have experience in social media content creation/graphic design, reaching audiences, and recruiting supporters

Highly effective writer with skills in formal and informal writing

Demonstrable leadership experience in social justice and/or political causes

Experience working in communities of color highly preferred

Educational release time and tuition assistance for completing a degree while a Texas A&M employee

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience.

Undergraduate or professional degree, or degree in progress.

Proficiency in social content production and distribution.

Provides psychosocial assessment and interventions to patient/family in collaboration with palliative consultation and primary teams.

Assists the team to facilitate patient/family meetings in clarifying goals and plan of care with attention to family dynamics.

Documents psycho-social assessment and plan on palliative social work notes in electronic medical records.

Contributes to assessment of pain and symptoms to foster multidimensional treatment plan.

Insures completion of the IDT form and contributes the psycho-social assessment and plan.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, news judgment and time management

Strong writing and editing skills, knowledge of Times style or the ability to absorb and apply it quickly

Maintain broad knowledge of the social media landscape and be aware of new platform trends as they come up.

Deep knowledge of TikTok trends and best practices

Select and curate editorial material and images for visual platforms including TikTok and Instagram.

Work with various stakeholders to adapt, script and produce videos on a regular cadence.

LOCATION: Remote - United States only (TimeZone: EST | Partial overlap)

Executing remote and in-person social content capture (e.g. video capture, voice over)

1-2 years experience creating social media content for a large brand or publisher

Experience developing video content for a brand and the ability to write copy in a social brand voice

Experience organizing, tracking, and managing a variety of information and data through spreadsheets and/or CMS tools
