2Nd Shift Quality Technician Jobs in Oregon

Associates degree in a technical field with quality or manufacturing experience may be considered.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including business acumen and understanding assembly operations.

Provide support to operation team when quality issues arise to maintain production.

Lead problem solving to improve quality, safety and Takt attainment.

Partner with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to ensure that quality plans are established, followed, and that processes are capable.

Collect and communicate quality metrics, and communication of quality issues.

Support the Value Stream and Quality Manager with Key Process Quality measures on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis;

Demonstrate advanced measurement and inspection skills, including programming, troubleshooting, and application of assembly fixtures and measurement equipment;

Adhere to work standardization and associated training requirements

Complete quality requests to support the New Model Introduction teams with part measurements and analysis;

Perform First Article Inspections and Design Capability Studies as required;

Complete measurement equipment verifications, as required;

High School degree (or equivalent) and 3 years of related work experience OR associate degree in a related field

Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) to be able to create reports and send/receive emails.

Quality assurance and audit experience is a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Perform detailed inspection of all parts and / or assemblies.

Ensure that all engineering drawings provided match the product inspection.

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills in a fast paced manufacturing environment

Extrudes different fluorocarbon resins. Must set up all equipment needed to run product using setup cards provided.

Cleans melt tooling and puts extruders back together.

Writes legibly and keeps accurate records.

Keeps a clean, neat workplace.

Strong analytical skills. Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.

Knowledge of good laboratory practices, including keeping a clean and safe laboratory as well as sample prep, handling, and record keeping.

Statistical process control skills and the use of statistical analysis software are preferred.

Assisting in handling non-conforming products to ensure they are not released without further analysis and Quality Manager approval.

As a Quality Lab Technician, your responsibilities will be:

Willing to work rotating shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends/holidays.
