2Nd Shift Quality Technician Jobs in Illinois

Minimum two year of experience in a similar role in manufacturing or automated distribution facility

Intermediate Mechanical (including Hydraulics and Pneumatics), Electrical, and Computer Skills

Experience/Ability to work with CMMS

Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills

Setup the use of tools and equipment prior to production for optimum safety levels

Intermediate troubleshooting, maintain, and repair automated mailing equipment

Ensures timely completion and compliance with cGMP and all other relevant company training requirements.

Entry level, 0-1 years of work experience required; 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.

CGMP or prior work experience in a regulated environment preferred.

Prior pharmaceutical or CDMO experience preferred.

Develops organization and others. Takes ownership to develop self and others. Seeks out new opportunities and experiences for continuous learning.

Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills required.

Interaction with QA Manager and Production Management for analysis projects

Assist in other duties as assigned by QA Management of National Beef

QA will be responsible for notifying appropriate plant Management personnel of any deficiencies found and to take appropriate action as needed

Working knowledge on computers and iPad systems is a plus

Product knowledge of beef or pork

Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written

3-5 years of mechanical/electrical technician experience

Experience in food manufacturing preferred

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite in addition to knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures

Respond to production floor maintenance calls from machine operators as needed

Perform maintenance tasks to ensure continuous production

Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment and machinery as needed
