Shareholder Research Analyst Jobs

Strong organizational and time management skills

Have strong abilities to research across multiple databases, historical and current

Exhibit both deductive and inductive reasoning skills to analyze information and make impactful decisions

Experience working with financial data from sources such as Bloomberg and FactSet

3-5 years experience working in the financial industry

Bachelor’s degree required, coursework in Finance, Business Administration, Statistics,or related field preferred

Management Support: Support management reporting and ad-hoc requests related to Shareholder Reporting’s transactions and responsibilities.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Adapt to working across various document types to support Fidelity’s different product lines with different reporting requirements.

B/S or B/A (Finance or business equivalent field preferred).

Prior experience with regulatory and/or financial reporting preferred.

General knowledge of investments and the mutual fund industry and regulations

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments

1 year of relevant experience within investment banking or capital markets is required

Desire to use both quantitative and qualitative skills on a daily basis

Strong written and verbal communication, client and interpersonal skills

Top education credentials; Bachelor’s degree is required

Interest in the areas of shareholder activism, hostile takeovers, and ESG

Comfortable reading and interpreting financial statements

Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize projects with a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time

Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

Maintain and update project management tools and timelines

Excellent research and problem-solving capabilities and highly developed written and verbal communication skills

Manage Ceres’ Investor Portal, including working groups, data tracking and taxonomy, as well as the process for Portal improvements in Salesforce

Minimum of two (2) years professional administrative work experience, preferably experience working in investment or nonprofit sectors on sustainability-related issues

1 year of relevant experience within investment banking or capital markets is required
