The Role


You are a professional who possesses strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to embrace and adapt to an ever-changing regulatory and operations environment. In the role of Associate Analyst III, you will depend on your analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of your assigned documents and filings. Your ability to work as a team player and to work under pressure to meet deadlines will be critical to success in your role and in helping to support the department’s overall mission of ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of regulatory reporting documents in support of Fidelity’s multiple product lines.


As a Associate Analyst III, you will prepare registration statements and other reporting requirements for Fidelity’s U.S. 1940 Act products and certain institutional products. Your understanding of mutual fund operations will enhance your ability to adapt quickly to the role. You will work within a team of other preparers and reviewers who you will collaborate with on assignments. You will adhere to production deadlines for your products and will also work with internal and external business partners to research and resolve issues. You will work on multiple assignments each reporting cycle and effectively prioritize tasks to ensure work is completed on schedule.


  • Adapt to working across various document types to support Fidelity’s different product lines with different reporting requirements.
  • Prepare documents and filings effectively and efficiently using various Fidelity systems and process validations. This includes the ability to identify, analyze and escalate potential risks using knowledge of department policies, procedures, and disclosure requirements.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to growing your skills and building your product knowledge.
  • Collaborate well within the team and with external business partners through strong verbal and written communication.


The Expertise And Skills You Bring


  • B/S or B/A (Finance or business equivalent field preferred).
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments
  • Strong computer and application skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-starter with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • General knowledge of investments and the mutual fund industry and regulations
  • Ability to maintain flexibility in a fast-paced work environment with evolving priorities.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and work as a team player
  • Prior experience with regulatory and/or financial reporting preferred.


The Team


Shareholder Reporting team is responsible for creating and filing Fidelity Fund regulatory documents. We work closely with the Treasurer’s office, the Legal Department, Product Development and Governance to ensure accurate and timely reporting requirements.
