Senior Supply Planner Jobs in California

Functional knowledge of planning, forecasting, purchasing execution and supplier relationship management, along with related supply chain areas.

Manage product flow for maximum inventory efficiency based on supplier capabilities

Manage and enforce supplier compliance requirements such as; accurate lead times, high fill-rates and on-time delivery.

Establish, monitor, and manage supplier delivery plans to achieve desired service levels, minimize stock-outs, working capital expense and delivery costs.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong computer skills, proficient with Google Office Suite and multiple communication apps

Supplier Management - Manage contract manufacturers and component suppliers to deliver purchase orders on time, in full, on quality

Experience with active negotiation and strong decision-making skills

Build and manage reporting to provide visibility to on hand, excess, obsolete, and vulnerable inventory.

Collaborate with accounting and finance to ensure the proper provision is held based on inventory health and make up.

Purchase Order Cycle - Manage product and material purchase order cycle from purchase to delivery.

2-5 years of relevant and progressive supply chain or procurement experience

Capability to independently analyze and understand problem at hand and derive meaningful plan for improvement and influence management decisions.

5+ years of working experience in the service planning field, preferably planning in SAP

Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or relevant areas or equivalent experience.

Language: Excellent English skills on reading, writing, speaking, and listening

Experience with Service planning systems (Prophet by Baxter)

Direct experience with build-to-order and configure-to-order products and associated supply-chain.

Keeps detailed records, generates reports, and develops presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or other related disciplines

Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning/Purchasing, Inventory Control, or Operations roles

Minimum 2 years of experience in the Beauty industry

Minimum 2 years of experience with Domestic/International logistics including FTL and FCL

Minimum 2 years of experience with ERP systems

5+ years experience in supply or inventory planning

Experience translating consumer demand into supply plans

Experience translating data into actionable information to drive results; proficiency in retail math

Work cross-functionally with the factory, logistics and packaging teams to ensure that supply plans meet the needs of the business

Manages inventory planning activities to meet customer needs and comply with company goals/standards

7-10+ years of experience in supply chain, supply planning, demand planning, etc.

Strong understanding of Supply Chain Concepts and analytical skills

Experience with S&OP process preferred

Experience with statistical forecasting techniques preferred

Strong communication and presentation skills

BS/BA required, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Finance, or Business Management.

Manager and leadership training, biweekly L&OD webinars, and eLearning offerings

Manage and publish production/shipments plan and confirm the plan is within capacity constraints, while maintaining optimal inventory levels at all warehouses.

3+ years of Supply Chain planning or related experience preferred

Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills

Experience with any MRP or supply planning software such as Oracle Supply Planning a plus
