Overview The Secretary of the Board of Directors is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Board of Directors. The Secretary is responsible for ensuring that all Board meetings are properly documented, and that all Board decisions are properly recorded and communicated. Detailed Job Description The Secretary of the Board of Directors is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Board of Directors. This includes preparing agendas and minutes for Board meetings, ensuring that all Board decisions are properly recorded and communicated, and providing administrative support to the Board Chair and other Board members. The Secretary is also responsible for ensuring that all Board meetings are properly documented, and that all Board documents are properly filed and maintained. Job Skills Required• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Board of Directors policies and procedures
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or related field
• At least two years of experience in an administrative role
• Knowledge of Board of Directors policies and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
