Developing workshop plans, ensuring each script includes clear instructions that make it easy for any facilitator to deliver

Assists with researching and designing UOP courses and learning offerings.

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional/Curriculum Design, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably in a retail/hospitality operations environment,

Effectively assist Project Manager in completing applications for industry L&D reward programs and administer the application process

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and engaging classroom presence.

7+ years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or related

Helps to identify and respond to learning needs across the company.

Develops new training programs using ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation).

Creates program guidelines, training outlines, and course materials.

Able to both conduct classes for end users and to deliver “train-the-trainer” sessions.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Use provided templates, content from subject matter experts, and personal design expertise to create well designed materials for teachers and students

Transfer and track files through the defined workflow process in Google Drive

Adhere to style guides and project documentation

Participate in a rapid development process that includes peer review and engagement with multiple stakeholders

Implement feedback from stakeholders to edit and finalize materials for print and digital delivery

This role is a remote, part-time, 1099 postion with the possiblity of, based on workload, become full-time.

Create well designed teacher support materials and student anthologies with content provided from grade-level writers

Adhere to style guides and project documentation/conventions

Implement feedback from client and team members to edit and finalize versions

Transfer and track files through the defined workflow process in Google Drive

Consult with other curriculum designers to ensure content is age-appropriate and meets educational objectives

Collaborate with visual designers, curriculum managers, and company leaders to determine appropriate instructional approaches

Develop and manage project plans to create and deliver high-quality math content

Research and analyze content requirements and strategies

K–5 math teaching experience - experience as math coach or math supervisor is a plus

Experience in curriculum development and instructional design

Bachelor’s degree in education or related field

Experience teaching science (5+ years)

Prior curriculum writing experience (3+ years)

Understanding of the components in the Framework for K-12 Science Education

Excellent writing and proofreading skills

This role is fully remote.

Accurately enter test scores into the Student Management and/or Document Imaging Systems

Collaborate with Directors of Academics and Professional Development Manager to determine curriculum needs.

Stay apprised of State Standards for all schools managed by Charter One.

Develop, review, and maintain curriculum maps and pacing guides for all schools managed by Charter One.

Collaborate with the Directors of Academics and Professional Development Manager to develop curriculum training as needed.

Manage all request for testing services

Project, product, or people management experience involving small to large teams.

Professional or volunteer experience teaching, instructing, or creating educational content.

Research educational techniques and philosophies, and apply them to curricula.

Research the learner experience, identify weaknesses in curriculum and make improvements to existing content.

Collaborate with designers, engineers, product managers, and marketers to design, create, market, and improve Codecademy's curricula.

Collaborate with the Customer Support and Product teams to gain insight into the learner experience and make data-based improvements to curricula.
