Describe the literacy pedagogy required to build foundational skills understanding.

Describe the benefits and challenges of blended learning and the use of technology by students and teachers.

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Education

Minimum of 5 years of full-time, successful literacy teaching experience in a K-3 classroom

Ensure application of current best-practice approaches in the teaching of mathematics concepts, principles, information and skills content and pedagogy

Develop and user test learning hypotheses based on research, learning science, and experience

Deep experience with, and understanding of, appropriately developed and scaffolded learning

5+ years of classroom teaching experience in grades Pre-K to 5.

2+ years commercial curriculum development experience

Works with a variety of program areas; e.g. Technical Education, Health Sciences

Performs job task analysis (DACUM method)

Identifies program competencies, outcomes, and objectives

Assists with curriculum review and revision

Provides training and consultation for faculty

At least 2 years of experience tutoring AP Statistics or Calculus (1-on-1 tutoring) or college-level tutoring experience

At least two years’ experience working within an LMS.

At least two years’ experience designing and virtualizing curriculum and content.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Strong planning skills, vision, and creative intelligence.

Evaluation and assessment skills, including collecting and using data on student and instructional performance to drive curricular improvement.

At least 2 years of experience tutoring AP Biology & Chemistry (1-on-1 tutoring) or college-level tutoring experience

Manage content area with an eye toward student persistence

Must have instructional design experience in a postsecondaryonline environment (prefer at least 2 years)

Possesses broad knowledge of instructional development and design as well as instructional best practices (prefer at least 2 years)

At least 2 years of experience tutoring SAT, PSAT, and/or SSAT test prep strategies for a minimum of 15 hours/week
