Title: CITY CARRIER ASSISTANT (CCA)

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Supply Chain/Logistics

3+ years experience in full-cycle Freight Brokerage/Third Party Logistics (3PL)

Assist with management of revenue replacement inventory

Assist Carrier Relations Manager with Nitel network inventory management and cost reduction initiatives

Manage and maintain carrier pricing analysis for new carriers, existing carrier pricing, and market-based pricing

Track and manage all carrier commitment levels in conjunction with Accounting Operations

Assist finance department with carrier rate increase circuits

Work with Finance and Operations teams to identify and reduce Carrier Cancellation fees

Comfortable with desktop computers, including knowledge of Office applications and web browsing

Prior experience with CMS Rules and Regulations and/or other state or federal healthcare programs, a plus.

Inbound sales and outbound follow-up

Maintain attendance and conformance standards

Reviewing rates and terms of service offered by current/new shipping companies to ensure that the company’s rates are competitive

Conducting WBR’s< MBR’s and QBR’s to manage carrier performance

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments

Work with internal customer teams to understand future growth opportunities.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all carrier relations inquiries

Respond to carrier requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner
