Retail Data Analyst Jobs

Strong data querying skills (SQL) and some experience with a scripting language (Python or R)

Working knowledge of & interest in A/B testing and inferential statistics (sample size determination / power analysis, hypothesis testing, regression etc.)

Bachelor’s degree with quantitative emphasis. Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing Analytics, or related field

Proficiency with descriptive analysis and data visualization (ggplot2, seaborn, matplotlib, Tableau, PowerPoint)

Communicating effectively across all levels of management throughout various departments within the company with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Leads daily system, process and operations management of NRO Technology and Data/Reporting to address questions and resolve issues.

Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience.

Prior experience using internal or external data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Retailer store level POS data).

Strong knowledge of multiple reporting systems/tools: i.e., Microstrategy, Analysis for Office, Nielsen Connect, IRI Unify, Tableau, Excel.

Experience building and automating reports using systems mentioned above.

Lead effort to expand and centralize existing retailer specific reporting.

· 10 Years IT experience.

· 6-8 years proven work experience in Data Analyst role

· Must have experience in Supply Chain/retail

· SQL Analytical skills are must

· Knowledge of ERP is a plus

Title: Manager of Retail Enterprise Insights

• Working with customer experience data to identify insights that will drive action for our organization

• 2+ years of experience interpreting statistical analysis to tell data driven stories

• 2+ years of programming experience using SQL or equivalent, handling large datasets

• 2+ years of experience with business intelligence tools, i.e. Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, etc.

• 2+ years of experience with the MS Office Suite
