3+ years of industry experience in Data Science and Analytics, exhibiting a progression of complexity and scope in responsibilities.

Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience

Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience

Proven experience in developing a vision, roadmap, datasets, and tooling in a nascent or evolving area.

Collaborate with business teams to craft and refine key performance indicators and visualizations that support data-informed decisions.

Liaise with technical teams to prioritize and set standards for data initiatives.

1-3 years of industry laboratory experience

Previous experience with molecular laboratory techniques needed

Perform molecular based techniques such as DNA extractions, RNA extractions, & qPCR in a regulated laboratory setting

Perform ELISA assays and other cell-based assays

Perform laboratory maintenance such as maintaining and calibrating equipment and ordering laboratory supplies

Create and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Knowledge of and practical experience with catalyst development with a preferred background in coal/biomass/municipal solid waste processes to value added products.

Self-driven, proactive and possess excellent communication skills.

PhD in engineering, material science, chemistry, or physics from an accredited university with 1+ years of experience.

Extensive knowledge of the fundamental principles, theories, practices, and established methodology of engineering, chemistry, physics, and mathematics.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must be able to meet the requirements for gaining access to work on the NETL campus

PhD (or equivalent experience) in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related discipline.

Demonstrable communication skills, as evidenced by presentations at scientific meetings and publications in scientific journals, and good interpersonal and organizational skills.

Experience in developing prototype simulation models within a Matlab or similar environment.

Good understanding of the physiological factors that can affect the rate and extent of oral drug absorption.

Familiarity with various formulation and delivery technologies and the design and development of pre- clinical formulations.

Organization skills, including time management ability

Perform data management and manipulation using MS Excel spreadsheets.

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across projects

A Bachelor’s degree in a social science discipline, with a minimum of 2 years’ of previous research experience.

Qualitative, mixed methods research experience

Experience conducting qualitative interviews (cognitive, in-depth, focus groups, usability)
