Conduct inventory and property management tasks on a regular interval, as directed by the VA PM

Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (8 years total)

Work with various groups – facility groups, IT professionals, project managers and the VA client

Must have prior experience in installing copper/fiber cabling (including terminating both) and racking/stacking IT equipment in a data center environment

Must Produce high quality technical documents (technical writing skills)

Experience with use of ticketing system, such as ServiceNow

Completely and correctly document all activities in accordance with the company service policies and procedures and FDA requirements.

Adhere to all company policies, procedures and comply with all safety and regulatory requirements.

Two years experience as a field service representative, laboratory medical scientist or related field.

Customer-oriented and strong interpersonal skills.

Exhibits high level of critical thinking abilities.

Multiple project and time management skills are required

Must be self-directed , able to work independently with limited management oversight.

Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in Electronics, Fine Mechanics, Optics or Medical Field Service.

A+ and Net+ certification preferred.

Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

Must have strong computer skills.

Knowledge of Johnson Controls Metasys Building Management Systems would be preferable, including Metasys, Facility Explorer, EasyIO, and Verasys products.

Knowledge of DDC controllers is preferable

Good verbal and written communication skills (email writing skills)

Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills are a must.

Troubleshoot application, communications, network, and control system problems and effectively communicates solutions to JCI employed service providers and authorized contractors/distributors.

Document and report quality issues for products and procedures.

Strong management and coaching skills

Providing installation solutions to field teams as the higher installation / product knowledge resource.

Manage another Engineer and their projects, ensuring strong analytical practices are followed and the projects are completed within its timeline.

Ideally a valid Journeyman Electrician License: advanced knowledge of residential and solar electrical systems

3+ years of installation and troubleshooting Powerwall / PV systems experience.

Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment. This includes excellent communication skills: written and verbal.
